Hey I got 2 1230w's and i got my new amp so b4 i get my type-r i wanna get the new infinity's i have the warrenty, someone said i could trade them in? I also heard if i blew them they may give me the new model or just a credit for what i paid for them? also are they carrying the 1242 or 1252 models thanks

You would just get a similar model depending on what they think is comparable. Usually you get screwed.

CC i would suppose gives u credit since they odnt carry the brand and if the warrants with them

umm, cc carries infinity. I have a friend who works there and he gets like 80% off infinity as an employee discount.

If you got the City Advantage protection plan thingy (2year deal more than likely)... it's a free swap out warranty. Basically, we have very low stock on Infinity left... supposedly CC and Infinity decided to mutually drop eachother.

SO, moral of the story... if you have the protection plan... I recommend giving your local store a call, make sure the have some 1242W's in stock... and making sure your warranty is still valid. yah C.C. lost infinity to........................................Best Buy. How do i know you ask? I work at Best Buy, lol. April 9'th is when we get it supposedly. We only get the reference series not the kappa's.
