Took best buy 90 min to do mine...IDK much about HU's but he had to cut all the wires and crimp them and stuff....doesn't seem that hard if you had good diagrams but it took him forever.

I was gullible back then and thought they knew what they were doing...would never let them install something again, especially after the guy told me all i need to power my 6.5s and 6x9s is a 100 watt amp. My frickin HU puts that out (almost)...i just laughed and walked away. The funny part is i might be getting a job their lol.

Maybe a little bit different, but every single one of our displays at radioshack come with the box, manual, etc. We just open it, get the main product out, and set the boxes in the back, an whenever someone buys the display, we go get it. simple. I dont see why you didnt get a box and stuff, unless they are really that dumb to just throw it away, or just didnt want to give you one, or forgot.

If it was best buy he could have gotten the extra warrenty and just busted the unit and got it replaced for free..

In most cases it is.

Sometimes you get the random shop that actually keeps everything.
