i go to circuit city today to buy a head unit. i know i can get it online for cheaper but i didnt wanna wait. i go there and know what i wanna buy. DEHP3800MP. i then see a 6700mp that wasnt on their website. so im like k ill take that. it was the last one, so i got the display model. note..no scratches. so i pull in the back yada yada. takes the kid over an hour to install it. later i notice 2 scratches. then i notice..wtf i dont have a box/manual/remote. since its the display..maybe there isnt a box? idk..but i still should get the manual + remote. ill be calling tomorrow //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yeah it was originally 189, but he charged me 155 i beleive. but then im pretty sure he just fvcked me and charged me for installation, which on the receipt shows 35$, so it all equals out..

yeah it was originally 189, but he charged me 155 i beleive. but then im pretty sure he just fvcked me and charged me for installation, which on the receipt shows 35$, so it all equals out..

More than likely the price of the install was taken out of the price of the headunit. Its the way things are done in the computer for the "free install package".

It was one of those places where they vacuum and whatnot then a person drives your car however short of a distance to the wash tunnel, your car is put on a long belt to go through the wash and then more actual people drive it out of the wash tunnel and hand dry it. one of these times when someone was in my car they managed to f*ck up the display on my HU //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

I assume it was from when they tossed my keys into the cubbyhole under the radio prior to it going through the wash tunnel and they had incredibly bad aim so managed to hit the stereo first.

It got replaced so I don't care. The guy gave me vouchers for free washes at a future date....I asked him did he seriously think I'd ever patronize his business again??? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Word-Of-Mouth advertising being some of the most effective PR in the world I am telling everyone I can locally what these idiots did. Negative advertising can do much more to repay their kindness regarding my stereo then anything else I can think of.

An hour + install for HU (once we [or installers should i say] get to the car) is common at my store :\. Just imagine the grouchy people I deal with day after day.
