Circle port vs. Rect port

Does anyone know the advantages for using the rectangular ports instead of circle ones for sub box?

Well u can have more port area with slot ports than round

 

[B&R Innovations]

That and slot ports are normaly easier to contruct and adjust.

Most can be shaved easier
