Chrome rims repiar???

I live in Chula Vista, I am looking for a place to repair my cracked rim. I have 20" chrome wheels. Anyone know a local place to repair it and roughly how much?

Like is the rim itself cracked or is the chrome cracking? If its just the chrome just have it sandblasted and rechromed. If the rim is cracked youd be better off buying new one and it would be safer

rechroming is expensive. even powder coating is pricey.

Is it really? Around here powder coating is pretty cheap I know when I was all into biking i had my frame powder coated and it was only like 75 dollars.

i went to get some spinners recoated and they told me 400$ for just the spinner, not including the rim.

That would be too bad if it was the whole things for 400(if you mean 100 each) but thats rediculous for just the spinning piece

i've never had it done on anything. i know i told them to screw themselves and never looked into it again. so around a 100$ per would be a decent price? def. will call someone else if that's the case.

Yea dont know how prices vary around but here its not super expensive. But i also sanded and stripped my bike frame to raw metal so I suppose around 100+prep a rim would be about average around here id say

i wanted to have them dipped, but i found a site on ebay that sells brand new spinners for 400$/set of 4. haven't purchased yet, but i may go that way. i took the spinners off because they don't quite look right on the s-10. looked killer on the camaro. i messed them up with the acid rim cleaner.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blackeye.gif.66a1670f5aaf7f406e783a63e3387dc5.gif

Chroming is cheap in some states and expensive as hell in others. Chroming in CA is nuts because of all the regulations and etc. A lot of people I know drive to Nevada to get their wheels chromed.
