Here is everything that arrived on Saturday. I still have to get the MDF to build box this week/next weekend.

Setup is 1 AA Atlas 12 pushed by Profile 1000M mono and 4 Clarion 6x9's (not pictured) to be pushed by Profile 740M 4ch. All this will be wired to my Alpine CDA-9847

Thanks to eveyones help in my search for a good system on a budget. Got everything for under $600 new (HU, Amps, Sub, Speakers, RCA's, Wire, Fuses, Fused Distribution Block).

Might not help you very much, since he got an Atlas.....although it would be nice to see a review on one, most of what I see is about the avalanche.

ive recommended that to many people. be sure to tell us how it sounds!

that sub was REALLY cheap for the quality, and those amps are the same thing!

that must have been under $300 for everything. right?

I thought the same thing at first. It really does seem like 99% of the talk about Ascendant is related to the Avalanche, and the Atlas is the forgotten little brother.

Req is great... got me setup with good beginner amps and decided on the Atlas 12 over the Alpine Type-R. Gotta support an American made product. And the price was nice also..

Yeah..all for just a hair over $300... With shipping and small parts (cables, fuses, etc) it came to $333.00 .. If I would not have gotten the 4ch for my 6x9's it would have only been like $250 for the gear for just the sub... pretty fair in my opinion.

how many watts you gonna put on that atlas and what type of enclosure will you be using???

The Profile 1000M will give me 320 RMS 4ohm load. I am going to make two enclosures. First will be a 1.2 cubic ft sealed enclosure with 1 lb of poly inside. The second will be a about a 3 cubic foot ported enclosure at 28-30 hz... not exactly sure if I will stick with these dimension on the ported.. still doing my research.
