The point being you can make any sub sq/spl/daily sound however you want to, why would you want a 74 pound sub when a 30 pound one will do the same?
That is not a daily sub.

There is no point to waste that much weight for an adequate daily driver.

Unless you really want to. Then go for it. but IMO a 75 pound driver is not a daily driver.

my daily is a 80lbs 18" LMS Ultra.

and I would bet it sounds better than alot of 30lbs speakers.

lms= one of the best sounding speakers built accourding to a lot of people.

wow ppl.... its supposed to be an SQL driver but more towards SPL. the FS on the sub is quite high for an 18 which makes me lean more towards spl but ima try it out mid 30hz range and see how it does. its the prototypes so its my job to beat the piss out of them and see how they handle. they are going in the pink panther. already have the wall for 3 18's but if im not happy with it im tearing the front baffle out and installing a new baffle for 4 18's tuned around 35hz.

we are looking into getting a large enough rubber boot for the motor. the shiney sticker is there just to protect it in shipping and what not.
