Whoever decided to sub the pretty girl for the "ugly" one, must not have children, I mean, come on, she is a little girl, and could be scarred for life because of this incident.

oh no doubt the whole country is still a third world shithole. You cant paint a turd without it still being a turd with paint.

China is basically in its "industrial revolution" stage like america was back in the late 1800's - early 1900's. It will take another 100 years for them to crawl out of the rice patties into the modern world. I think only 1% of chinese live in urban areas out of the entire population.
