The wood on the amps is unfinished, FYI. It's natural and needs to be stained and finished. But who says you have to stick with wood? Paint it rather than stain it, make carbon fiber panels, makes some anodized aluminum panels, makes some from abs.... I won't judge them until they come to production. You never know... Maybe they haven't brought anything out because they've been spending a bit of time on R&D? They kind of HAD to do SOMETHING with the brand in order to differentiate it since they gave all the cool technology to MTX....
And the new look of the amps? Im sorry, but those amps look like they were made in the 70's. The wood grain in particular on the amp shown appears identical to paneling found in common 'single wides' , again, from the 70's. Seriously. The 'wood grain' look on audio equipment isn't new (besides on cones).
But the little passive crossover covers still look pretty nice. That's something, I guess?
A big meh! from me on this one. Sadly.
