Baiting is illegal here in Mississippi... I hunt deer based on their feeding habits during the early season (acorns), and then switch to hunting the edge of their bedding areas once the rut (breeding season) starts.. A lot of the mature bucks will wait till the rut starts before they even CONSIDER moving before daylight.. Gotta always take into account the wind as Matt previously stated...

I have killed several deer with a bow myself... And it is more enjoyable taking does with a bow than it is a rifle.. That is why i have not killed a doe with a rifle this year.. And I splurged and bought my expensive scope simply b/c we hunt many areas with antler restrictions.. When that buck comes out right at dark I need to be able to tell exactly how big he is.. Could I set my stands up to hunt where I could kill deer at 40 yards with a shotgun w/o a scope using buckshot?? Yes I could...

I used to be fat and looked like an oompa loompa until about 9th grade.I was really shy too. I started working out then and watching my food intake.. All throughout high school I thought I was ugly.. I didn't go on my first date until the summer before my senior year... That was also when I got over my shyness.. Next thing I know I actually get to start dating some pretty girls.. People started commenting on my buid.. Self-esteem went up.. Now I have plenty of self-confidence and will say if I set my mind to it I could get most attractive girls around here..

Do I think I am attractive? Yes

What would I rate myself on a 1-10 scale? 7

I just kinda get a good laugh at these big time hunters that spend all this money on automatic corn feeders, deer blinds and $800.00 to $1000.00 rifles just to shoot a deer and most the time they come home empty handed.

I do not know where you get your ideas about hunting, but in my experience it is no where near what you described.
