one is a hard drive (internal) the other is what i believe is an external casing for an interal harddrive.

the best way to see if they are compatible is to put a big magnet next to your computer tower.. Like a big sub magnet.

he's just a little upset thats all jerkface. usually when i need good computer related advice i skip all the great computer forums on the internets and head straight to the lounge.

no my laptop is only 60gb and i want to put all my music with it. its currently all on a 1995 gateway that i use only for music...
