Check out this Niche Audio Amp.....

When I first seen this amp I thougth it was trash NICHE AUDIO NA6000D, but after going on realm of excursion and checking it out it has the same board as a Treo ssx 1500.1 http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/Niche_NA6000D/, I can get this amp for like $450 of ebay, and I heard that a 1500.1 can do around 3000 watt rms @ 1 ohm, so I figured the niche 6000d can too, so any think I should get it and test it out?

Just because its the same board doesnt mean much.....

Different components could be used on the board.

Same board doesn't really mean squat. Look at the Atomic 1800 and the 20.1

Different parts/trim same car type of deal. Would you rather have an Imprezza or a WRX, Impala or Caprice, CTS or CTS-V. That type of deal. For the most part things are cheaper for a reason.

The atomic 1800 and 20.1 look identicaly alike on the inside, even outside, and I'm sure and Atomic 1800 will perfrom just as good as an 20.1

i believe why they are cheap now is because niche stopped making them and you can't really ge tthem from a dealer now. they were well over a grand when they first came out. i have two. had one hooked up to an orion h2 but didn't have my gains set to do 46.9 volts on the out put, the amp clamped at 2208 watts rms at a 60 hz tone. actually it's a very nice amp. i've also seen people run the down to a .5 ohm impedance. i think they are also strappable, but don't quote me on that one. but now i feel i'm wasting the amp because i bought an eclipse sw8200 with a single 3 ohm VC. oh well, maybe i'll get four more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif (doubt it though)
