****.. I just duct tape mine down.. thats how you are supposed to do it right??.. thats how i did it to the battery as well.. couldnt fit all the wire on there..

I just wrap mine around the trunk hinges a few times. Works flawlessly

wow. it seems like it would be "loose," but if the screws grabbed, its probably close to as secure as screw down terminals on the amp. But it's interesting. Has anyoe ever seen a welded ground? Seems like that would be a "good" one, but not so aesthetic.

i would have given him a terminal just to keep him from doing that lol.

And whoever said "easy way" I don't think there is anything quick or easy about that lol.

sticking six screws in?? thats easy as hell!! easier than driving to the store to pick up a terminal drive back and do it the right way i guess...

if im out of duct tape i just bend the wire under the amp sand down the paint under the amp and screw the amp down on top to hold it in place!!!

x2 HaHa. took alot of work beating it that flat and starting all those screws even though they are self tappers.

The best way is to sand down the paint, hook the wire to the battery without a fuse then tap the ire to the metal, instant welded ground FTW!

(please don't try this, I don't want to get sued)

In most cases, a chassis ground works just as well or better. Dont believe everything JL Auio tells you.
