Check Out This 300C We Just Finished...

we charged effing pennies man. The hope is that he'll take it to shows or something and give us a lot of attention/business. We did everything for 1K.
Also, we did this job just on the weekends. We both go to UCSB (University of California - Santa Barbara) and he lives in the OC, which is about 4 hours away with traffic. So we had to commute down 3 weekends in a row to finish. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
are these just side jobs, or do you guys have a shop or work with a shop

Damn, only 1K? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

OMG you only charged him 1k...hell the equipment alone had to be over 1k. Or did he buy the equipment and yall charged 1k for the install?
Dude. The equipment was like 6K. LOL. Yeah just 1K for the labor, but considering a shop would have easily charged around 2.5-3K, I think we gave him a daaaamn good deal, especially with the custom piece on his dash.

ummm, a little of both?

We don't have a shop right now, we did that installation out of my co-partners garage. So I guess you could say these are side jobs.

Next year, we'll have a house with a garage we can turn into a shop (we both live in dorms right now) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The only thing I'm disappointed with is that there is still dimming with dual runs of 1/0 awg for the Big 3 and 2 Yellow Tops, thinking about it now we prolly shouldn't have gone with the deep cycles //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
that would be because you didnt upgrade the alternator.

just because you have 2 batteries of reserve power, does not mean that the stock alt can charge them, and have the system and car running at the same time.

tell him to invest in a HO alt.

otherwise, nice and clean.

Good work man, I would have easily charged that much out of my shop. PM me if you are ever looking for work in SD.
