Hey before I install my orion 2500d I want to make sure I do forget to do something stupid that can cause me my new amp. Could you guys give me tips, reminders, etc.. on what to do and what not to do. Thanks

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before doing anything electrical. Connect the ground before connectiong anything.. Wire your subs correctly. Set gain PROPERLY.

K I should connect the ground first then connect the power to the amp then to the battery or does it matter, I just have to have it grounded first?

just to be safe... disconnect one of the battery terminals first. Everyone says to disconnect the negative first, but I always disconnect the positive and have no problems with it. either way seems to work

edit: connect the power to the amp first, battery hookup should be ur last step.
