check capacitor working?

if you feel like you just got hosed spending time and money installing something that doesnt help you in any way, then your cap is doing exactly what it is designed to do.

Wow, that was a completely worthless post. Do you feel better now?? Being a smartass is not helping this guy one bit....now grow up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

G'day guys, just installed a 1F cap and was wondering how to check if its actually working. I dont have any LED lights or LCD display screen.
cheers

A capacitor can help in certain circumstances but I'm not going to get into that right now since you already have one and want to know if its working.

First of all did you charge it with a resistor?? The easiest way to check if its working is to use a volt meter. If you don't have one then just hook it up and as long as you don't have any voltage problems then chances are it is working as designed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif In fact, if you have it wired in line with your amp and there is a problem with the cap then your amp will NOT even fire up. So if your amp is on then it is working fine. Hope I didn't confuse you more. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
