Cheapest option for trunk sound deadening?

Hi guys, basically a two part question.

Was wondering if anyone knew:

a) the best of the cheap deadeners. I have heard that butyl based is the only way to go but I don't want to spend any more than necesary.

b) the best / cheapest source to buy aforementioned best of the cheap deadeners.
