Cheap power acoustik amp.

Hi i was wondering if anyone here is familiar with the power acoustik ps4-300? It's rated at 40wats rms at 4ohm per channel. I got this amp brand new from a friend for 20 dollars. Right now i'm just running some pioneer 6.5s in the front and some phoenix gold 6x9s in the rear(not installed yet). Will there be a decent improvement by amping my cabin speakers with this amp? The rest of my system is an Alpine CDE-9852, an MTX amp and JL 12. I"m just wonderin what kind of results i can expect going from stock rear speakers to adding the phoenix gold R69.0C's and that amp. Sell the rears and that amp, both are useless.
