Cheap L7s?

It would present a bit of a pain in the *** but it's doable.

User A has a pair of L7s that he blows. They are still under warranty but this genius decides he needs to move onto bigger and better things ('tis a sad thing to see someone with plenty of money and nare a clue continually buy nice gear that ends up trashed because idiot-boi has no clue how to properly use the stuff) So - he sells the blown subs.

User B gets 'em, sends 'em in for warranty repair under User A's name (after the warranty validity gets verified) and bingo! Freshly reconed L7s for $150.

Yep, that's exactly how it probably happened. I see it all the time.

polecat? I remember asking him how much it would be for a recone just a few days ago... he said about the same price they are on ebay... never told me about a warranty... tis new info may be useful

but i still don't see how they pay the shipping...i thought all shipping costs (even warranty repair) is paid for by the owner/user??

also, i was pretty sure that kicker quit reconing subs, and just replace them with new ones..

i asked tracy over a year ago, and he said they quit reconing subs. someone else also asked earlier this year, i believe, and he said the same thing as well..i think they replace them, not recone them..

we do, and still rebuild speakers, we don't recone YOUR driver when you pay for a recone, we just upgrade you to a new driver, unless this guy falsified paperwork, don't see how that happended...
