Hey, im looking at some Phoenix Gold RSD65cs's. Are they pretty good? Im just looking at cheap comps and saw many people running these. Are they worth buying? Thanks!!!

i was recently in your situation. after reading review after review, i was down to either the rsd's, ID ctx comps or a CDT set, and i went with the ID mainly because a friend of mine has them and they sound great. with so many sales on good comps right now, you should look around woofersetc and see what you can get at a steal, do you have a certain budget in mind?

LOL, for a budget, not much, maybe 70 shipped. Im trying to get a 5kw amp and everything for my spl build so i need money for that. I just want something that will sound decent daily. Right now i have polk 5.25 Coax's and 6x9's and i want to get something just for the front, but that will sound the same, or similar.

Powerbass 6.5's from millionbuy for $36 will do the job. Sounded surprisingly good for the price getting around 50watts a side. Decent midbass punch and highs weren't shrilly or bright...
