cheap car alarms?

anyone had experience with cheap ebay alarms?

I'm wanting a 2 way paging alarm, maybe with remote start (but I dont really need that) however, I can get a "cheap" one locally, for like $300, but there's alarms listed on ebay, with the same, or more features, for $100!!!

$99? + $55 postage

$299? no postage, pick up locally

maybe I'll just go the with $300 one...if you but two or more, they're $270, so my mate might be interested in one, and it does have an optional microwave sensor...

but then, how does one cheap alarm differ from another really?
