Cheap apt complex

So i'm living in an apt right now, 4 of us and well i cant really play xbox live because my ping is always horrible. One of the main reasons i chose this complex is because it says that each bedroom has its "own" highspeed internet. So i figured they had dsl which would be perfect as i could play games and do other internet stuff and not worry about it. Well i lag like crazy and i asked the front desk what the internet provider was. Turns out that for 13 buildings with and average of 94 people in each building they only have 3-4 cable seperate cable internet connections. Now wtf I thought each room had its own seperate internet since thats what it says in the contract. Now is their any way i can get back at them for this? I mean 4 cable connections for almost 1300 people is quite ridiculous if you ask me. Considering im paying an arm and a leg to live here.

I'm more or less saying that wouldnt they have to provide me with my own internet since in the contract it says each room has its own internet. it doesnt say each room has an internet connection it says each room has its own private high speed internet.

my GF's old complex did the same thing. A few cable lines for the whole complex. Slow as can be. She left, but not because of the internet

It really is ridiculous they might be paying a couple hundred dollars for internet for 1300 people. wtf.

Step 1- Fill toilet bowl with all the toilet paper you can find to soak up all the water.

about all you can do is move or get your own access. the contract doesn't specify latency.

what you have is private..meaning not public.
