Cheap amp and sub for my Corolla, suggestions for a new guy.

Hey guys, I'm really new to car audio so I'm on this forum to learn the basics and on as well as do work on my car.

Heres the deal, I have a 94 toyota corolla. So far I have a clarion head unit and clarion speakers front and rear. They crackle kinda when played high and I have very little bass compared to everything else, its basically all highs imo. I'm stuck with this car for awhile so I might as well make it sound decent (or at least better). I was thinking of getting a 4 channel amp and an 8inch, MAYBE 10inch sub and put it in the trunk.

I'm looking for a pretty darn cheap setup. I'm talking bare minimum.

I was gonna put 2 channels to the front speakers (or would rear be smarter?) and 2 to the sub.

I'm looking for the cheapest of the 2 parts. What do u recommend? I saw a BOSS four channel amp for around 80 and an 8 inch sub for like 50-60. I still would need to get the box situation worked out.

What do you guys recommend?
