Sold Charlotte, NC LOCAL SALE -- 2 15" Type-R's and 2 12" RL-P's

These subs are for hopefully local pickup only. I'm located in the university area in Charlotte (UNCC). Refs in sig, and plenty of them at that.

2 15" Type-R's (just the subs, no box)

Cosmetic 7/10, if you forget the scratches on the magnets then 8/10 (pictured)

$275 picked up OBO... don't know what to list these at since its been a while since ive sold anything on here.

Dual 2 ohm voice coils

2 12" SoundSplinter RL-Ps in a sealed box

sealed box dims: 31Lx13Dx14.5H

the box is about 1.25 cubes per sub, sealed

subs are 7/10 cosmetically. theres a fairly big scrape on the upper left hand side of the right hand sub's gasket, also there are some spots on the cones but I think with the proper cleaner they could be removed, not too sure and I dont have anything to clean them with. overall they are in pretty good shape.

$300 picked up, pretty firm

unsure about the coils resistance lol, i bought these off my friend. If you are really interested, ill take them out of the box and find out gfor sure. pretty sure they are both dual 4

I actually might be interested in that. New version mag correct?

I am selling the Type-R's because I'm not trying to kill my new car by putting a 2500+ watt amp in there, which I would have to do for them. I got them so I could use them, but I changed my mind. It's just too much money for me to spend right now to install a new alt + batteries, etc.

The RL-Ps I got from a buddy who needed the money, I bought them off of him and they haven't moved from my room.

Honestly I don't want to separate the subs and the box, and the price I can't really come down on too much if at all.

If you want to pick it up and you don't want the box, you could just toss it I suppose.

The only reason I don't want to separate them is because once I sell the subs to you, no one would want the box so it would just be wasting my money. I would rather find someone who could use the box too, or that didnt mind tossing it if they didnt need it.

And yes I can check the impedance, it'll be a few minutes but I will post in here once I find out.

well I went to measure the impedance the other night and I guess I left my dmm back at my dad's house in greensboro.

I just callled my buddy to ask him, and he said he had no clue (I got these subs off of him and was planning on using them but I changed my mind). I asked him what amp he was running and he said the hifonics 1000w amp, so i looked it up and there are NO hifonics amps that put out 1000w at 2 ohms, but there are 2 that put out that power at 1 or 4 ohms. that being said, if what he said was true it would have to be 2 dual 4's to get a final load of 1 or 4 ohms.

thats about as sure as i can get, until I get my hands on a dmm.

**since it is a local sale, if anyone has a dmm and they are in or around the charlotte area, feel free to bring it and we can check the coils impedance, if interested in the RL-Ps.
