yea i know my credit would be ruined for about 7 years or so

iirc it would take 7 years of COMPLETE inactivity on your credit. which is just about impossible to do...

this would require no banks, no bills, no credit (obviously), and i believe this time period would only start after the collectors stopped trying to collect...

Dude, that is the way it used to be. Not anymore. In fact, there are companies that can completely wipe out the debts for a fee of ..... I think it's $20.

im no economist, but IMO our economy is in the shitter exactly because of ppl that take advantage of their good credit, run it up and then not pay the shit back, while ppl like me who had to take out student loans to better their lives have a shitty credit score of 510
