Changing my mind about hifonics?

I was interested in getting a hifonics brutus bx1500d to run my two JL 12w6v2's. But i keep reading about all the problems people are having with their hifonics amps. What would be some other good amps to run my subs?They are 4 ohms subs and would wired into a 2ohm load...their specs are as follows...

Depends on your budget.

How about the new KENWOOD KAC-9152D, it is rated at 900 watts rms @2ohms and 1ohm. I have a kenwood now and have never had any problems with it. Anybody know anything about their new line of amps? Are they rated close to their actual power?
