Chance to buy old school solo's, watcha think?

I am really tempted. I was only going to do a single sub setup in my car, but it seems to good to pass up. Guess I could still use one and sell the other!

No money is not an issue, just only wanted one sub to save trunk space. I already bought a mono amp (Boston Acoustics GTA-400M) from Crutchfield, but I can always return it and get my money back for that and buy the right amp to give about 400watts to a 4ohm load.

Well I missed out on the solos. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I went ahead and got a Boston Acoustics G3 10" sub. Seems to have really good reviews and I used to have a pair of G1's and they were really good for the $. Now just got to decide on the HU and get all this junk installed! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Im a big fan of the original solo's, I was big into car audio when they were in their prime... but $180 seems a tad steep for out dated speakers. Maybe that's just me. Dont get me wrong, would have made a pretty good setup, but by today's standards it wouldnt have been anything to write home to mom about. Hell, a pair of CVX's would be just as good, minus the oldschool nostalgia.

Shed no tears.
