anybody ever tried them? someone locally selling a 10. was thinking of picking it up to use for SPL, any comments? I nned something small because of the size of my trunk. currently have a soundsplinter RLI -10 in a 1 cube box tuned to 30 hz. for daily.

Since I have these 2 amps,I was thinking of running 2 R/F 10001BD strapped to the sub for SPL.

you can't go wrong with cerwin vega strokers. They are very loud.

how much for that stroker in the pic?

if u want a 15" pro, lmk, mines for sale.

honestly, these arent great for daily use. they sound pretty good IMO on music, but candle handle their RMS power for very long. for example, the RMS on the 15" stroker pro is 2500w. i was running it at that for awhile and was having some serious problems with burning voice coils. dark black smoke pouring out of it after maybe 5 mins of play time not even full tilt. talked to tech department at CV and wayne basically told me he doesnt feel they can handle the full 2500w that they claim. he says try it at 1500-2000w. im runnig it at 1500w right now and i can get through maybe a song and a half, playing it decently loud, but again not full, and i smell those coils burning up again.

imo, they're better for like 3 second burps or whatever.

thanks, but a 15 is too big for me, I like my 10's that's why I 'm getting this one. it isn't a pro, but I was going to use it just for burps. got 2 fosgate 10001BD's that I was going to use to hook up to it.
