something i've noticed... when you can adjust your center frequency for your sub amp's signal......you'd think that the center freq would be best set at like 40 or 50 Hz, right there in the middle of the range you sub is playing....but no
i noticed it with my old avh-p6600dvd when i adjusted it and even more so now with a universal remote knob that has the option to adjust the center freq too. with the center freq in the middle of the range being played, the signal to the amp is weak. when the center freq is bumped up (120Hz on the avh deck, 150Hz on the universal remote knob now) the signal is strong as it should be normally. is it me or is this weird? i understand the concept of a slope in frequency response that moves as you adjust the center freq.....but youd think youd want that center freq right around in the middle of the freq's you're playing with your subs....but no....
