The PSS-6i mid is supposed to be one of their best sounding drivers. But it has limited throw so midbass wouldn't be its strong suit.

The ES-06 has plenty of midbass but the midrange is a bit subdued.

The ES-6 would be a good compromise between the 2. I own a set & am very pleased.

Hey 350zspl, if your gold es set is rated @ 4ohms for the mid, & either 4ohms or 6ohms for the tweeters how did you get 2 ohms???????

i am using 2 sets of cdt gold for front stage
