No, it's per side. You don't need a 150W x 2 amplifier to get great results with these speakers, and if you're going to cross them well below 100 Hz regulate that volume knob carefully.

whats the smallest amp would you recomend for them ? rms wise ?

or should i say im committed to ppi black ice amps. i want all my amps to match.

Any of the Black Ice full range amplifiers will work great on these speakers.
