i have them in my front doors now. good midbass and very clear. would be a waste for rear fill like the other guy said.

To get the most out of the HDs just make sure you give them enough good clean power.

I just got the slim version of those speakers in the mail today, I have never even heard any CDT speakers before I am hoping they sound good.

CDTs are a good performer. The EF NeoX or the CL EX coaxials will do well for a rear filler. If you're interested just PM me and i'll get you some. As for the HD's if you're using the 480 crossover i'd put about 175rms on them of good power and if you're using the 560 i'd use about 200rms of clean power on them.
