CDT 6.5's... will they fit?

I'm getting a set of CDT 6.5 comps for my car, A 2005 Malibu (no amps or onstar, stock comps up front)... Will CDT 6.5's fit in an oversize/6.75 opening, or will I need an adapter? I already know the depth is fine, just don't know about the width...

Ik... wish they came with, lol. But it's just the fronts for this deal. The ol eclipse 4way 6x9's will have to do for now, tho I'm not crazy about em.

I just have to get the equipment I already have in the new ride for now, but I'll be getting a new set in the future. It's just too bad I had to drop a hundred bones on that stupid dash kit. I was definitely going to get a new set, otherwise.
