CD7000 Faceplate Stuck

So the faceplate on my cd7000 wont come off? not sure why it did all the time up until now, and its jsut stuck, i took it out to try to figure it out and i dont get it, if youve seen one 2 little things come out when you push the button, but there isnt anything they could hit to do it, so im not sure if its something inside that would need to be depressed to release it but n e ways, its outta warranty so any ideas?

Mine just started to do this as well. I figured it happend when I dropped it. Now the release button doesnt work.

Ha.. I had issues with my first cd7100 as well... I hate that deck.
