CD Changer wiring harness

Hello,

Got a factory CD changer in my 98 VW Golf,

I hooked up a Pioneer CD player in the car but I wanna be able to use the factory CD changer that came with the car on my Pioneer head unit. Is this possible to wire up ? I have the Pioneer CD changer cable ( but no Pioneer cd changer )

Can i tap into the existing wiring with the Pioneer cable ? will it work ?

If you could acquire the wiring configuration for that VeeDub changer and see what the pinouts are for it I suppose it could be fabricated to work with the Pioneer but I honestly wouldn't have a clue as to how to go about actually doing it...
