Cascade omega take 4000-5000 Daily?

I have run a few Omegas and they take the power well. 3000wrms to one daily is pretty much all you will need. I wouldn't recommend putting 4000-5000w daily on it. Im not saying it wont take it but it my own opinion. I have run an Omega 15 with 2 3000ds on it at 18.1v and it took the full power on burps and 30sec bassraces runs with the gains backed off . The coil didn't like the bassrace runs but it survived them. By far the Omega has been my favorite sub I have ran and am currently working on a new build of mine that includes a few Omegas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

why would you buy both?
Because maybe I will get one and then later on I might want to switch, more or less I wanted the chance to try both.

I have a good opportunity to get both for a great deal. It seems like I wouldnt want to pass up the opportunity on either and I have a bit of free cash to do. Is it a problem to own more than one sub? hahah isnt it everyone's goal to try and own as many....I feel the only reason I sell the stuff I have is to be ABLE to buy new stuffss but now i get to keep it all! haah:p:

So i think ill just try to make sure my power is all that high up there because I know the dd says 5k @ 1 ohm but im hoping that will be more like 4k

why do people want to throw 5000+ watts on one sub?
IMO you would be louder with that power on atleast two subs.
cuz........otherwise I would have to go looking for another 15 plus I dont think I have the space which is 4.5 cubic unless maybe it is for 2 15"s

Either that or i was just going to do 2 rd hw's

BTW i dont want to throw that much power to it its only because thats the wiring option either that or 4 ohm load and that would be liike 1700ish i believe

space is normally the issue. 1 sub in the proper box would be just as loud as 2 subs in an incorrect box off the same power.

One 10" on 2400rms in my convertible pwns //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

its hard to find a 3" coil woofer that can take anywhere close to that power level. If I had to choose though the Omega and HW would be my top choices and I've owned both. The TSNS looks promising as well but we all no theres no love here for them....

I have one Omega 15" right now off a 3000D and It loves it, as long as I'm not driving around full tilt where ever I go. I don't even have the desire to put my other Omega back in lol It's loud enough.
Trade an omega for a HW
