Carpetting raised lettering, carpet keeps lifting, what HOLDS??

im trying to cover some door pods that are like 36" long, but have 6" tall 1/2" thick raised letters on the panel, the letters "CRX" , the problem is I cant get the **** carpet to stick down in the tucked areas around the letters, it just wont hold.

I tried using super 77, and contact cement....

How would you cover such thick letters and have the carpet hold to make tight clean looking letters?

What kind of carpet? Is there a thick backing?

Its regular speaker box jet black cabinet carpet, its from parts express if it helps, Its very thin, some contact cement actually leaked through,,, its pretty thin

i'm guessing here but you using a brush to apply? also how thick is the raised material?

ya a foam brush, dabbing along lol.

The letters are 1/2"

spray the pods and the carpet, let it tack for a minute or so and then start in the middle and work your way out. I use a 1" putty knife, chisel, and pushrod to get into all the areas...

3M spray glue sucks BTW. I prefer Power Poxy if you can find it. Menard's has it now and then...
