i hate getting stuff like this, because the roads i am on are empty as possible,
and i bet stupid insurance wouldn't cover it if i crashed myself into a tree(lol) or sank it..

but u dont need insurance to get the license right? but if u get pulled over ur required to have insurance...? hmm

not sure about other states, but here you cant drive without insurance(the car must be insured) legally if its over 49cc

yea you can make dirt bikes street legal. rockymountain.com has street kits. you have to have headlight taillight turn signals mirrors and horn here. check with your state though. you would be better off and sell yours and buy an ENDURO bike. its already street legal and the tires are made for multi surface so they wont go bad after like 14 days.

what kind of dirtbike is it? heres an example of what you will need.( top 4 items are mandatory. this is for a honda crf450r) http://www.rockymountainatv.com/search.do so about $700 without tires. i would honestly recommend you trade your bike in and get an enduro. it will be faster top end and it will already have everything on it. light blinkers gas gauge speedometer multi surface tires and spots to put your license plate.

you would have to have insurance and registration. it is considered a motorcycle not an offroad use vehicle any more if you were to go legal.

meh i know forsure the 2 stroke 300 rips harder than an enduro, but i dont really want to travel long distances with the bike i have now, its gears are close ratio and itl just grind the it out of my gears if i ride street all the time, i use this to off road, i just dislike how i have to be concerned every time i go riding that am i going to get caught/chased today..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
