Once I was skiing in Big Bear, CA and stayed at a cabin. After drinking the tap water I got violently ill from both ends for 12 hours. I was so dehydrated that I missed a couple days of skiing. More than likely it was just a different bacteria in the city water that I wasn't used to. That's probably what you're talking about, not poison.i was wondering, has anyone ever goten sick or felt bad after accidentally drinking river/lake/pond/snow water?
