JL was probably their main line, in which they will talk great about and push. (its busniss) and hes probably a sales guy. and he never came across a dual 2.

I work at Carrabba's. If you came in and asked me if the chicken alfredo at Olive Garden was better, what do you think I'd say? I see these posts all the time and it always seems like the "omgiknowsomuchmorethanud00d" n00b goes into a shop to purposely try to "school" the salesman. Why? Are you really that much of an attention *****?

Actually saw that in a Best Buy ad in the newspaper a few years ago.
the 2nd amp i ever bought was a coustic 801D and the salesmen told me that since it was a class D it could put out an unlimited amount of power as long as i feed it alot of current and hence he convinced me to buy a capacitor with it. once i learned more about car audio and went back to his shop to call him out on it, he banned me from his store.

Me and my employees would rather make a Pioneer comp set sound great than installing a Focal Utopia comp set that sounds like crap. You gain the sale but loose future business imho.
