Seems a tad "washed out" in the left hand corner...maybe stopping down a little would have prevented that as much?

I don't get the point either, but looking up Jack Frost's usage of "DOF" in acronym finder I'm guessing it's one of:

- Depth of Field (photography)

- Depth Of Focus

great camera, how close were you? macro is the cameras strong point so i dont think thats a great example assuming you're in that mode
