went to car toys yesterday for the first time in 4 or 5 years. man their stuff sucked.

I think this is a huge example of why boxes make a impact. i saw woofers there calling out 1ft of airspace and getting 2ft. sounded like crap. only half the stuff seemed like it was hooked up right.

the only combination i saw there that sounded good at all was the MTX 7500 12" woofer with the JL 1000/1 amp. that sounded great and thumped hard. but geesh everything else sure did ****.
