Hi have a couple questions. I have a 2002 ford explorer xlt 4.0L V6. I have a pioneer avh x5500bhs head unit with a cerwin vega stroker 124 and a power acoustik 2400db. I'm thinking of getting a alpine mrp m2000 amp. How do I receive 14.4v to my amp at all times when running? Also is this a smart move on my part to upgrade to the alpine amp? The vega is rated at 2,000rms. Thanks to anyone the gives an open minded opinion to me.

John

If you want 14.4 v at all times when running, then you are going to need to do some pretty considerable upgrading to your vehicle's electrical system... IE: High Output alt, Big 3, 0 gauge, dedicated trunk mounted batt, etc.

& Yeah I'd say that stroker can definitely handle more than you are giving it... I'd definitely look into upgrading your amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
