Car show nov. 5th.....lots of pics..no 56k

-Engines do not cost 15k, no where near it. Most of them leave the POS smoking engine in them-Paint does not cost 6k unless you are getting ripped off. Most get a cheap candy paint and call it a day. ~2k if you know where to look.

-Most break welds so it rattles and put a cheap system in it with the most 6.5's possible

-Interior work doesnt cost 4k...at least not most of thoes type cars that I've seen. In fact, most could be done for $1k or less.

-8k for rims AND LIFT...not just rims and tires.

With that being said.

-Fully Loaded H2: $55-$60,000

-Rims: $4,000

-Audio/Video: $2,000

So $60-$65,000 for what they are wanting and getting for $13k tops.

For every car that is done "right" there are 10 done the cheapest, ghettoest way possible.

proof would be when that ball player from tennessee brought a cutlass to Unique autosports on that unique whips show.. remember it was orange w/ a JL setup and a bunch of screens.. them clowns couldnt fit the 22's on it, goes to show NY and most everywhere else up there isnt hip to the whole thing yet. thats why that same car is on 24's now, dude got smart and brought it back down south to get it done right.

give it time, as soon as someone with some clout in NYC gets seen in a donk or any oldschool sittin high or w/e everyone up theres gonna be doin it. i seen them g-unit **** with old school chevys on TV so it shouldnt take long. i read somewhere that NY ppl are in their own lil bubble, they think if it didnt come out of NY it aint shit, kinda seems like some regions are like that, mainly the west coast and the NW.

ok and what about the "civilized" ppl that say having a system is ****ing stupid? Yet just about everyone here has one. these cars in no way make you uncivilized dumbass. These guys at the show were giving charity for up to 1000 dollars so they're not bad guys just because they have these cars. They do not bother anyone. Systems is a different story so if anything the people with sound systems should be labeled more unciviliezed than us........

Me personally i could give a **** about what the next person has to say about me or my car. I can deal with people saying its ugly because no matter what car you have someone is gonna say its ugly. It just pisses me off when someone tinks that the money put into these cars is just nothing. that and when someone wants to throw dumbass shit around like us being uncivilized

In case you couldn't tell, the uncivilized part was a sarcastic remark about the demographic of that show vs the assumed demographic of the north east (edit, gotta spell it out for you: relating back to slave days - and I reiterate, it was a sarcastic remark). Either way, you still don't see that shit up here - just ricer wannabe racecar drivers - and I doubt it'll catch on.

Also, everyone I've talked to is pretty much cool with car audio as long as it's not designed to bump just to be a showoff. If they aren't then they're cool with home audio.

I didn't make a comment on who the people were, so how you assumed that is beyond me. I have absolutely no problem respecting time and money invested. My question to you is, how much time do you think they actually invested in their rides? Or a better question, how many of them DIDN'T just take the car to a shop? 1?

even if ya dont like the style of cars, you have to give respect to the amount of money, time, and effot put into them.
im sure if the people with those cars wanted a regular car with an insane system it could be done easily.

LOL Im from connecticut originally and I remember everyone wearing lumberjacks, triple fat gooses, and driving their cars with them big *** bubble rain guards on their cars lol, so dont get all high and mighty.
