Capacitor Voltage to Amps?

yes, my mono amp works at first than shuts down, my multi-channel is still on but almost no sound from speakers and none from sub.

You should see your battery voltage (around 12V) at minimum. Ideally your alternator should be charging everything around 14V

Thanks for the reply. Voltage was checked while ignition on but not running. Also checked Voltage at battery read 12.7V. Could Cap be bad??

try this. (no seriously, no matter how much sense this doens't make, assume that I'm not wrong for an hour or so, and actually do this instead of posting back and forth for a week about how I'm wrong and your better than all this)

check all connections. physically. disconnect each power connection, sand down to bare metal, and reconnect it. check wiring for obvious corrosion/oxidation.
