capacitor question

Right now I'm running a P4004 and a P5002 with a 2F cap. I also have an optima yellow top, and i"m still getting dimming lights. Cap reads at 14.4. Is something hooked up wrong or is it just not enough cap to stop the lights. Brings me to my next question. I have another cap in the garage, same type, can I hook it up next to the existing cap and basically run one cap per amp? Trying to avoid spending the extra money for a new one since I have another one already.

Lastly I am also thinking of upgrading my equipment. I have 2 shallow mount P310's (40hm) as well as the amps I already menchioned. I want to upgrade to 2 p3 12's, and the power 6004 and a power 15001. What size cap should I be using? Any reccomendations? Thanks for the help ahead of time.

Get rid of the cap...Do the big 3...Ck. your wiring, grounds, etc.

Take the cap out and put in a second battery or either upgrade the big 3. Cap's are basically worthless. Search for capacitors on this forum and you will see why...

Sorry I forgot to menchion that my current 10's are dual voice coils, and I would liek the 12's to be the same.

I've done the big 3 and I don't have room for another battery. I have a honda civic, and trunk space is an issue. As it was I built a false floor for the amps to fit in. I have the subs in the rear corners of my trunk. I just don't see how I could possibly fit another battery anywhere.
