Hi guys!! I have recently installed a 1F cap and after charging the cap to approx 8 volts (advised by car audio installer) all seemed ok but then my car battery started to die, so obviously the cap was draining the battery somehow. I think i should of charged the cap to 12 volts to equal the battery volts. Now when im trying to "charge" the cap back up to 12v with 100 ohm resistor the LCD is flashing a "9" and the green light is flashing as well.

Also when i disconnected the cap and check its volts it was 0v (no charge). therefore i didnt bother to "Discharge"

cap brand unknown.

Need help what this flashing means. Instructions manual didnt specify aswell ;-(

Thanking you in advance!!!!!

Bad news-

You were fooled into buying a usless item, take it out and sell it to another sucker and buy a high output alternator.

oh and so i dont get arrested i was just kidding about licking your cap im sure it taste good and all but i think the amount of charge it holds will fry your tongue if not your brain if you do it
