what the **** is wrong with going with 12 or 10 gauge speaker wire for them subs. i mean don't you want the least amount of resistance possible ? hell try it for your self get about 4 ft of 18 awg hook it up to the sub see how it sounds then hook up the same lenth of 12 awg you'll be surprised by how much louder it is

ok if since you all say im a newb then tell why you would go with 18 or 16 awg speaker wire instead of going with like 12 or 10 awg speaker wire . so you tell me how am i wrong explain it to me and ill admit im wrong cause aint the point of this forum to teach give ppl insight on problems

I can do the big 3 with 40rms if i want, I mean maybe in your world no body ever upgrades there stuff but in mine i will definatly upgrade later so i might as well do it now and get it out of the way.
