Im a noob when it comes to capacitors,

I was looking at this cap but it says 24V - Does that mean i need to run 24V to it or does that just mean thats how much it will handle, obviously it will be on a 12V system so i was kinda confued about this

Don't get it, read the caps thread and go with another way....big 3, yellow top and HO alt.

And yes it means it can handle 10v to 24v.

I dont have the money to get a HO alterntor and a battery - I am dumping $500 worth of equipment on subs that you get for less than $100 anyway - So will that one get the job done untill i can get a better alt and battery

Not really, just do the BIG 3. It will cost less then the Cap.

I have never seen that untill now - Thank you - Do i need anything else electrical with all this - the stared stuff is all stuff im buying in a week or 2. I guess i can take the cap off the list and i might get a different amp kit and distribution block so i can have all stinger or soundstream stuff.

I would suggest 4ga power cable, also if your not set on stinger checkout knukoncepts for wire and rcas. Might be cheaper.

You could look in the classifieds for amps if you don't mind some used equipment. There is alot of stuff that could be better than the soundstreams. I haven't like SS for a few years now, after it stopped being made in the US.

Better stuff out there than dynamat too, I like SecondSkin.

the 8 Ga is for the smaller amp for the infinitys - i am on woofersetc.com getting all this stuff. I looked at percision power and all that and i just like the SS the most right now. I dont know many good Amp companys. I also wanted the Amps to matchy which is why i got 2 picaso series.

For real lol - When i upgrade to something bigger ill worry about upgrading my wire - They are only 200 RMs and imma be runnin them at 180 RMS -
