Capacitor Farad for 900 watt RMS Kicker Solobaric system?

How big of a capacitor would i need for 2 kicker solo's running at 900 watts RMS.

2 farad? 3 farad?

I thought the rule was like, 1 farad per 500 watts RMS...

maybe i was wrong. I was just making sure, dont want to kill my electrical system or have my lights dimming while im trying to drive home from work at night lol.

Don't think a capacitor will help much with dimming.

I believe the order is:

Power Wire Upgrade

Big 3 Upgrade

Alternator Upgrade

Battery Upgrade

Capacitor Upgrade as last resort

Ahh. I'll just keep on with the plan then. No capacitor. That'll save about 60 bucks, more towards a good amp.

Also, just thought I'd throw it out that i have a 60 amp alternator....haven't done any math on it yet, but is that nearly enough output for 900 RMS? Of course, i wont be running it full much, probably just half power most of the time. If its not enough, I can easily upgrade to something bigger.
